Tribal Times

The Tribe
"a social division in a traditional society consisting of families or communities linked by social, economic, religious or blood ties, with a common culture and dialect" http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/tribe?view=uk
Across the UK people from all different back grounds come together to enjoy the outdoors and experience adventure.
Our diverse landscape is ideally suited to those looking for a buzz, a thrill, a rush. From urban playgrounds to mountains, from rivers and lakes to stunning surf beaches, the UK has it all.
Like minded people everywhere make the most of their free time in pursuit of adventure. Groups of people be it friends or family, clubs or social groups, work colleagues or combinations of any other form naturally, creating communities with a common goal, a social tie. These communities both online and in the real world often have their own language, terms, dialects. In a way, we have embraced the tribal instinct lost by our very moderns society, creating a replacement through our need for something more.
We have created new challenges and formed new Tribes. Stepped outside our restricted lives, dominated by health and safety, and goverend by a nanny state.  Instead we look for more!
Heading out in all weather, ready to ride the next clean wave, to huck another big drop or to grind a favorite handrail.
Whether your a slave to concrete and metal, longing for open spaces, or getting your feet wet you don't do it alone.
We understand where you are coming from. We know these places are Sacred to you and to your friends.
Despite the British weather, week after week, we get out and challenge ourselves physically and mentally, pushing the envelope and feeling alive. The truth is we are all driven by the same motivation. Where ever you come from, who ever you share it with, we are all looking for the same thing, we are all part of the same Tribe,
We are all Fuelled by our next Adventure.

This Summer will be the official launch of Sacred in the UK.
Sacred is a lifestyle clothing company from South Wales. We are a small family business that draws on our interests in action sports, as well as ther local influences to providing casual and technical clothing to anyone with an interest in action/ adventure sports.  The aim is to produce limited edition apparel that is vibrant, individual, interesting and a little different.
Its going to be a busy time with our website going live and our 1st set of limited edition products launching online.
We have a big summer ahead, with lots of promotion, visiting local surf spots, mountain bike trail centres, festivals and Cities across the region. We want to take Sacred out on the road, speak to people, see what they do and find out what's Sacred to them.
In addition to this we will be launching a number of initiatives to get people out of their comfort zones, trying new things and making the most of what the UK has to offer; in our opinion some of the best urban, mountain and surf spots in Europe.

Caged

Despite it being the first nice, spring like day of 2011, necessity dictates I spend it indoors working on the Sacred website and our other soon to be online facilities.

May will be the official launch date for Sacred and there is so much to do, every free minute is easily accounted for but it will all be worth it in the long run.

Hopefully today's sunshine will be the start of a promising spring. With that in mind, the promise of milder, bright mornings and evenings means its time to get the commute bike sorted, fix the snapped chain link ready for Mondays commute to the day job. My rose tinted spec tell me Monday morning will dawn bright, clear and crisp- perfect commute weather, after the prolonged winter cold snap.
